What is ShaadiShots?
ShaadiShots software is a self-hosted desktop application for wedding and event photographers. It installs on your own computer and uses AI face recognition to automatically organize event photos into personalized galleries for each guest. Guests access their gallery by scanning a QR code displayed at the event.
How does AI face recognition work?
When you import event photos, ShaadiShots analyzes each image to detect and identify faces. It then groups photos by person, creating personalized galleries for each guest automatically. All processing happens locally on your computer.
Where are my photos stored?
On your own computer. ShaadiShots is self-hosted: your photos and face-recognition data are processed and stored locally, and are never uploaded to a cloud service. You keep full control of your client's photos.
How quickly can guests receive their photos?
Guests can access their photos in real time as you import them. There is no waiting period — photos are processed and grouped locally as they are added.
How do guests find their photos?
Each event gets a unique QR code generated locally by your ShaadiShots installation. When guests scan it with their phone, they are taken directly to their personalized gallery — no app download required.
Does ShaadiShots work for weddings?
Yes. ShaadiShots is specifically designed for wedding photographers. It helps you deliver instant photo galleries to guests during the event, which couples and families love.
Can event photographers use ShaadiShots?
Absolutely. ShaadiShots is built for professional photographers who cover weddings, corporate events, parties, and other gatherings where guests want their photos quickly.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, or Ubuntu 18.04+ (or similar Linux distribution). The app runs locally on your computer and works with standard hardware.
Is an internet connection required?
Photo processing and gallery delivery are fully local. An internet connection is only needed to validate your license when the app starts — this sends only your license key, no photo or face data. After activation, you can keep working offline for up to 7 days before the next online check is required.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. After installing ShaadiShots you can start a 7-day free trial right from the app, with no credit card required.
How much does ShaadiShots cost?
During our early adopter period, ShaadiShots has a one-time setup fee of ₹49 for users in India or $0.99 for users outside India. Pay once and keep the software — there are no per-event fees during early access.
What data is sent during the license check?
Only your license key is transmitted during the periodic online check — no photos, no face data, no event information, and no personal files. The check confirms your license is valid. All photo processing and face recognition remain fully local on your computer.
Are guest photos secure?
Yes. Photos never leave your computer, and guests can only view their own personalized galleries through secure, controlled access.
Is an account required to use ShaadiShots?
No account is needed to run ShaadiShots on your computer. You install the app, activate it with the free trial or a license key, and use it locally. Guests also do not need an account — they simply scan the QR code to open their gallery in a browser.
How long are guest photos stored?
As long as you keep them. ShaadiShots is self-hosted, so your event photos stay in folders on your own computer. We do not upload or host your photos on a server, and there is no cloud storage expiry to worry about.
What happens after the 7-day free trial ends?
When the trial expires you enter a license key to keep using ShaadiShots. During the early adopter period a license is a one-time setup fee of ₹49 for users in India or $0.99 for users outside India — there are no monthly or per-event fees.
Can guests download their photos?
Yes. Guests can view and download their photos directly from their personalized gallery.
